Little Amal takes her first trip to Boston

Little Amal at the Chinatown Gate

Brooks Payne walked with Little Amal - who is actually 12 feet tall representation of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl - from Dewey Square to the Chinatown Gate today.

The puppet is making her first American walk in Boston, where she will visit some BPL branches, participate in puppet making at Central Square Park in East Boston and help throw out the first pitch at a Sox game. Complete schedule.

WBUR has more on Little Amal's story.

This accomplishes nothing except employing some non-profit hacks and generating fake sympathy.

The USA sent hundreds of millions of dollars worth of weapons there in a regime-change effort which failed. That's why there are refugees. Thanks Obama.

What's the point of it? Renew regime-change?

Note that there is no Libyan or Afghan or Iraqi or Niger or Palestinian refugee girl puppet.

Or Yemeni refugee girl puppet. That's because our ally Saudi Arabia killed her at the border.

Same Saudi Arabia doing business with the donors.

Maybe you could make one. Sounds like a good weekend project for you.

Blaming the US as the "cause" of the Syrian refugee crisis is beyond the pale. There is blame to go around and the US can be included. But your myopic blame on the US either extreme ignorance or a desire to distract from the use of chemical weapons, ISIS, or Russian depredations. Get a clue.
