The Boston Police report says "West Roxbury" because Roslindale is covered by the West Roxbury police station and some Globe weekend intern who doesn't really know the city simply repeated what the police said (as you know, something similar happens whenever there's a crime at the Back Bay Hilton - the police always say it's in the South End). In any case, I see the Globe has changed the location to Roslindale, so somebody caught it. Honestly, though, you'd think they'd warn the interns about stuff like this (and my usual caveat here: What really matters is that somebody's dead).

Globe confused once more about neighborhoods
You know Archdale Road is in Roslindale, I know it's in Roslindale, but the Globe thinks it's in West Roxbury.
Here's why the Globe doesn't know Boston neighborhoods
