Shooting, manhunt in Roslindale

UPDATE: Four arrests made.

For the second time this week, somebody sitting in a car was shot in Roslindale, this afternoon outside 189 Durnell Ave., just off Washington Street.

Police quickly detained a couple of "people of interest," but a suspected shooter escaped even as EMTs were bringing the victim, shot in the stomach, to the hospital. A gun was found in the victim's car. Wicked Local Roslindale has photos of the two being taken away.

Police blocked off Durnell Avenue at both Washington and Walworth Street and placed evidence markers and police tape outside three houses on Durnell, Washington and Rosecliff.

On Tuesday, somebody was shot repeatedly on the other side of Roslindale Square, on Bradeen Street.
