Police: Dorchester woman threatens neighbor with knife, gets released by judge, threatens him with a knife again

Boston Police report arresting a Bowdoin Street resident twice in less than a day for going after a neighbor with a knife.

According to police, Tamika Wilson, 33, was involved in an argument with a neighbor at 248 Bowdoin St. late Tuesday night when she "produced a knife and chased the victim into his home." Arriving officers found "cut or scrape marks on a door inside the location that appeared to have been made with a knife," police say.

Wilson was arrested and arraigned on a charge of assault by means of a dangerous weapon in Dorchester District Court Wednesday morning. Prosecutors asked for bail of $2,000, but Judge Robert McKenna decided to release her on personal recognizance - but ordered her to stay away from the victim - the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Around 1:30 p.m., police say, officers were called back to 248 Bowdoin St.:

On arrival, officers located and spoke to the victim and a witness who stated that were in the midst of cooking dinner when the same suspect from the earlier incident entered their apartment, accused the victim of stealing and again threatened him with a knife.

Officers again arrested Wilson on a charge of assault by means of a dangerous weapon. On her return trip to Dorchester District Court today, prosecutors asked for bail of $5,000 - but that her earlier release be revoked. Judge Rosalind Miller set bail of $500 and issued a civil restraining order against her for one year, the DA's office reports.

Innocent, etc.

Sounds like a classic meth head!
I'd buy a deadbolt lock ASAP if I lived within a quarter-mile of her residence...

Knives are the reason for this, we need to ban knives and ignore the judicial culture that allows this to continue to happen.

Guess what they would have been, and where they would have gone, if she'd shot the guy's door instead of stabbing it. Is that an NRA-approved talking point?

she'd qualify for an LTC in MA.

This really is ridiculous. The woman threatens someone twice in one day with a weapon and her bail is $500? A restraining order isn't worth the paper it's printed on to someone this crazy.

Speaking of guns. The person that should have one in this situation is the neighbor. Clearly the state isn't going to protect them from this crazy woman. The cops aren't going to be there in time to save them if this nut job attacks them again. However, in this state it takes weeks or months just to get licensed. I hope they're young, healthy and can swing a bat.

I was thinking the same thing, but for completely different reasons, today.
