Man shot to death in Dorchester

Boston Police report a man in his late 30s was found shot to death around 1:40 a.m. at 45 Olney St.

He's Boston's 21st murder victim this year.

Not sure who you're grinding an axe for, but it's pretty clear that Boston media covers murders, regardless of skin color. It's the top local news story at both the Globe's and the herald's sites, and is on all the local newscast web sites.

I'm grinding the 24 hour news axe, that's what. Or the no one outside of those neighborhoods really cares about what happens there axe. All talk of murders in certain parts of this city tend to be forgotten when Boston media finds out what Whitey had for supper last night. Or if Sal's pension gets taken away. How about the if the bullet had hit another gang kid in that crowd instead of a 4 yo, then you really think Hizzoner would have made an appearance axe? Pick one, I'm off work today.

Sixth story down on Boston.com. Under a Whitey story and the latest on the annual phone booth stuffing contest they call the 4th on the Esplanade. Top story on the left column of the Herald's is the shooting, but the headline is once again...Whitey!

Should be all but gone by the time the guest singer with the Pops is announced.

Not everyone involved in a shooting is a "thug" or "drug dealer". I am disgusted b/c this was a man who was hanging out late just to be on his way home and killed. Ehh thats just another black kid....tell that to his daughter who's father went to work and paid taxes! Smh have some respect for urself and "colored" ppl. No class.
