Roslindale man arrested on heroin, crack charges while awaiting trial on heroin, assault and battery charges

William Fleurimont, 21, was arrested outside his 48 Colberg Ave. home around 9:15 a.m. yesterday when officers, who were about to serve him a search warrant for his residence, spotted him coming outside:

Officers approached the target and upon observing officers nearing him, the suspect attempted to flee. The suspect, while attempting to flee, was observed reaching into his pocket as if discarding something. The suspect ... was quickly caught and detained. After catching the suspect, officers recovered a plastic bag of tan powder believed to be heroin next to the suspect's hand.

Inside the house, police say, officers found, among other things, 50 bags of heroin, 7 bags of crack, 2 bags of pot, 4 laptops and a fully loaded 9mm handgun.

Fleurimont and another man were arrested in East Bridgewater in April on charges they robbed and stabbed a man, then led police on a high-speed chase. The two were also charged with conspiracy to sell heroin.
