Woman charged with stabbing elderly man to death in Roxbury apartment last month

Angeliea Brown, 33, of Dorchester, is scheduled for arraignment tomorrow for the death of Winston Fields, 73, in his apartment at 2311 Washington St. sometime last month, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Fields was last seen alive on Aug. 9; his body was found Aug. 14.

Brown has been in custody in lieu of $300 bail since her arrest Aug. 11, when police officers spotted her "apparently breaking up a bag of heroin into smaller, retail-size baggies on the steps of Madison Park High School," the DA's office says.
