Police: Cops patrolling Hyde Square area after shooting find teen with loaded gun
Boston Police report officers patrolling Centre Street a couple hours after yesterday's shooting noticed that six guys in Mozart Park began to flee when they approached - one clutching his waist as if he had something in his waistband:
At this time, the suspect removed a shiny silver item from his waistband and threw it over a fence into the backyard of a residence. Officers detained the male and canvassed the area for the object. Upon searching the area of Priesing Street, officers were able to recover a silver Smith & Wesson Airweight .38 revolver loaded with five rounds of live ammunition.
Emmanuel Pena of Boston, 18, was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition and carrying a loaded firearm.
Innocent, etc.

I recently sold a three-family on Mozart Street for $768,000.
I thought the old Mozart Street gang was finally gone.
See Ashmont Hill
Million Dollar Homes, 10 Cent Muttonheads walking through to Ashmont.
nice piece for a knucklehead

the bpdnews photo shows the serial number is still intact so hopefully they can get it back to its rightful owner (or prosecute them if it was a straw purchase)
Semi-colons are free!
I had to read that headline three times. A semi-colon after "shooting" (and add a "they" after) might help disambiguate it.
Poor semi-colons: they never get enough love.
