Man stabbed on Causeway Street

Around 3:10 p.m. outside the Garden. David Finnerty reports the victim was stabbed in the chest, and that police may have a suspect in custody.

this area is a cesspool. it has a long way to go. i don't think the methadone clinic is helping either.

I work in the area. That entire area of Causeway and intersecting streets such as Portland, Canal and Friend is one mass of homeless and marginal populations. Drunk, strung out, comatose, dazed, panhandling, you name it. The CVS alone has eight or nine at a time clustered in front.

Nothing says welcome to Boston than the hordes of drugged up zombies at every train station in the city. It's a disgrace that North, South, and Back Bay stations are all scenes out of Requiem for a Dream.
