Police seek bully they say threatened to kill a 33 bus driver two months after spitting on him

Transit Police report they are hunting a man they say spat on a 33 bus driver in October, then threatened the driver's life two months later at the same spot on the Mattapan/Hyde Park line when the driver wouldn't let him on the bus.
According to police, the spitting happened around 2:50 p.m. on Oct. 21 on River Street at George Street. Around 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 18, the driver pulled up to a stop at the same location and opened the bus door, when he realized the guy about to board was the same guy who spit on him, police say:
The bus operator, in fear, quickly shut the door as the male subject shouted, "When I see you again I’m going to kill you."
He's described as 20-25, 5'8" with a thin build and sandy brown hair. If you know any mad spitting dudes, contact Transit Police detectives at 617-222-1050 or send an anonymous text tip to 873873.

Sentence him to stocks on the common
When they find him (and they will) a judge should sentence him to a day in stocks on the common. Let everyone spit on him for his deed.

It's really sad that people are like this. BFD, the driver shut the door out of fear of being spit on again. And they threaten the driver in return.
really? what gives? what gets into people that makes them so GD mad to do stuff like this.
I hope they catch the guy and he gets the screws put to him in a bad way.
I really am starting to think they need to move a zero tolerance policy on attacking MBTA workers. Automatic jail sentences and high fines. Might stop many of these folks after a few of their friends get thrown in the slammer. it's done in other cities (SF being one), why not Boston too?

At the intersection of River and George street at about 1:45 p.m. I cannot believe that the drivers union can't get the Transit Police to ride a bus to protect the driver and passengers.
Perhaps it's actually
the Transit Police's union that won't let their officers ride a bus instead. And why the three week delay in soliciting the public's help in finding this perp?
