That's where we buy our croissants!

I guess we'll have to tell the nanny to walk the triplets in the other direction. Just the other day, Muffy was telling me that there was a hole in her newest Lilly Pulitzer! We thought it was a large moth hole, but now we think it might have been a bullet hole! Good heavens!

Here's the post where someone says you've obviously never been to the 600 Block between Washington and Shawmut.

Do you get your croissants at that particular Dunkin Donuts for some reason (the terroir?) or the late-night bodega? Have you ever been to the South End? It's in Boston.

Um, I've actually lived in the s. End for nearly 30 years. I know exactly what is on that block, and I used to know who was on that block. I was using a little poetic license to make a point about the current state of the S. End - that it consists solely of the haves (who have a lot) and the have-nots (who really have next to nothing). And sadly, there is very little, if anything, left between those two ends of the spectrum. Its either people in projects or the people in Pulitzer.

Personally, I'd rather see more Dunkins and bodegas than fancy truffled skin care boutiques in the S. End.

From your comment above, you must be the life of any party with your keen appreciation of sarcasm.

I have a very keen appreciation of sarcasm so I'm not very keen on yours. If tired old Muffy and Lily Pulitzer references are the best you can muster, I'll be happy to skip that party. We like our sarcasm sharp and dry on the edgier blocks of Mass. Ave.

I have a keen appreciate for that particular convenience store, too, and the dry cleaner. But nobody needs another DD.

Do you live in the projects or are you rich?

I get your sarcasm, but couldn't pass up the chance to defend our ol' neighborhood.
