Cabbie tased, carjacked on Expressway; suspects crash cab in Mattapan
State Police report a cab driver who picked up a man and a woman in downtown Boston early this morning found himself stunned with a taser and his cab stolen from him on I-93 southbound near the Keystone Apartments.
State Police say the cabbie, a 49-year-old from Weymouth driving for V & A Cab of Boston, had pulled into a cutout there around 2:48 a.m. when the pair seemed to get into a heated argument. One of the two then pulled out a taser, shot him, got him out of the cab and took off:
A short time later, another trooper observed the cab traveling in the opposite direction of him on Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan, operating erratically and then crashing into a pole in front of 1336 Blue Hill Ave. The suspects in the cab, a male and female, ran away from the crash.
State and Boston Police searched for the two with no luck.

Off topic but Uber
This is not related to this story at all, but another advantage of Uber over cabs is we would know exactly who the passenger accused of this is, as his account would have been tied to this fare.
.
That hasn't prevented numerous sexual assaults by UberX drivers.
$28 Cab Fare Versus Multiple Felony Counts
This says wonders about the value of life for some people.
At least if it had been an Uber car the driver could have given the couple a very, very bad review.
That cab driver must be proud of himself
For not discriminating against people of color and picking them up, in compliance with the law.
Heated argument was over $17 fare
WHDH interviewed the driver who appears Haitian. He claimed the woman started arguing with and hitting him over the $17 fare and that the man tased him. Do people think this is a third world country where taxi fares are negotiable?
