Dorchester teacher robbed at knifepoint outside her school

A teacher at the Frederick Pilot School was robbed at knifepoint around 12:40 p.m. at Columbia Road and Intervale Street - one house away from the school.

The suspect is described as black, short and between 14 and 16. He wore a blue jacket; his clothes may have stains from the coffee the teacher threw at him.

She'll probably get charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, to wit, coffee.

The Massachusetts justice system and Boston Police may have their faults, but recognizing who a victim is is not one of them.

Who can forget this awful case:

Or

The prosecution of glass engraver for Shreve Crump and Low by Ralph Martin for defending himself against a robbery by a crooked off duty sheriffs deputy outside the Charles Street Jail.

Or the months long twisting in the wind for the fellow at MGH which stopped a homicidal maniac from killing a doctor.

Or the Boston Housing police officer which fought off a group of armed home invaders.

People in self defense situations face more scrutiny in this state than those who negligently or deliberately kill cyclists or pedestrians!

of crime, now out practicing his trade. Another fine product of Boston schools.

We all kick in to bribe Adam to ban Mark. If money can impact free speech in larger ways, why not make it work on the local level too?

$10 - sticker
$20 - T-shirt
$50 - spike strip installed in your name at the Arlington border.

free speech isn't constitutionally guaranteed on uhub

but more importantly, can we orient the spike strips so they just keep the residents of arlington IN arlington? so its more of a one way cage

I absolutely meant that the spike strips would be used to keep the bad elements in Arlington and away from our vibrant cosmopolitan metropolis.

Please, make sure you leave space so the rest of us can get to Penzeys, Art Beat, and the Capitol Theater.

Good thing the unarmed school police can use strong words against kids with knives.

Umm. The school police have guns.

Don't confuse the school police with actual BPD officers who do have guns and who do do some patrolling of public schools in addition to the school police.

BPD do not patrol any schools get you facts straight

But there is a BPD officer who is a regular enough visitor to my daughter's school that she recognized him on the sidelines (in uniform) at a match of the school soccer team a couple weeks back.

Nor do they carry any less lethal or non-lethal items (e.g. OC spray), to my knowledge.

didn't exist on uhub, he'd have to be invented. What better way to get all the alleged outraged comments derailing a post.

People assume I care one way or another about these things when I'm just here to wind people up (who need it), express some needed diversity, entertain myself ,and sometimes others.

Yeah, I heard Devon at first as well, but later police said Intervale.
