Every day we hear about muggings, fights, hooligans and mayhem on the subway and the MBTA's response is to give their cop cars a dye job. The Guardian Angels back in the day restored safety and sanity to the subways without costing the taxpayers a dime..

You really think every single TPD cop has spent the last six months shopping for cars instead of fighting crime? Like, say, considering cup holders instead of disarming bad guys with guns?

Guardian Angels? Please.

2:30 Monday morning?

Did the T run late night in 1985?

I don't really know what impact the Angels had in NYC, good or bad.

But here in Boston the few Angels I saw back in the day were some pitiful looking, out of shape characters that couldn't scare anyone.

I am willing to bet that the Angels in Boston never once prevented a crime, apprehended a criminal, or assisted in apprehending a criminal.

And using the word "sanity" to describe these losers is hilarious.

Great idea how much is T police budget ? the T could eliminate them let the local and state police patrol the T in their city and towns with a massive influx of guardian Angels! Save money and make the T safer at the same time.
