Two arrested, loaded gun seized in police crackdown on Dorchester block with recent history of violence

Boston Police report drug detectives and a SWAT Team raided 19 Browning Ave. early this morning after a spate of "several incidents of gun violence and 911 calls for shots fired."

Police say officers with a search warrant burst in around 4:45 a.m. and recovered a loaded Ruger LCP .380 Auto firearm with an obliterated serial number. They arrested Kyle Taylor, 21, of Dorchester on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. Keeshon Wilson, 25, of Brighton, was arrested on several outstanding warrants unrelated to the investigation.

Police records show a report of aggravated assault and battery there early on Jan. 1 and gunfire late on Oct. 21.
