Police: Man packed a gun for shopifting expedition to Lord & Taylor

Boston Police report arresting a Brookline man they say had a gun in his backpack while lifting about $400 worth of stuff from Lord & Taylor yesterday afternoon.

Police say Tommy Germain Gedeus, 25, was charged with shoplifting over $200 and illegal possession of a firearm. Police discovered the silver Smith & Wesson .38 Special revolver in the suspect’s backpack during booking.
