He's described as Middle Eastern, about 5-foot-5 and was wearing a red shirt and jeans. Fox 25

Sometimes this site is incredibly detailed with suspect descriptions. Sometimes not so much. Thanks for the victim and Fox 25 for filling in the blanks.

And he's a blood! Unbelievable....

Oafish, I see that you think the guy's ethnicity is so very important that it should be a featured part of the post. Adam frequently leaves out lots of details, maybe to encourage us to actually RTFA. Which is what you did. What will you have to say if the Middle Eastern guy turns out to be an Israeli, or is actually of Italian or Greek or Spanish descent? What difference does it make, anyway?

Isn't Israel part of the Middle East?

But if you'd been unfortunate enough to be following Oafish-L's commentary, you'd know he wasn't getting worked up about that particular ethnic group. He almost certainly wants warnings about the presence of Muslims, because he's so scared of them.

saying Middle Eastern is the new Latino. It's meaningless and to those with a narrow world exposure. Probably could include 66% of the worlds population because they aren't able to differentiate one nationality from another.

The crime posts on here with fugitive perps usually have the description e.g. "black male slender build 6ft" but not this time? hm.

So my devious plan to drive up WFXT's page views is working!

A news site, informative site or what. It's ok to say nationality Adam. Nobodies feelings get hurt.

Nobody has tender feelings quite like you people on the right.

In any case, no, I'm not trying to hide the description. I didn't include it for another reason: When I link to a report on another media site, I try to provide enough info that somebody gets the gist of what happens but still would want to click on the other site's account for more. I don't run one of those sites that deliberately takes so much of another site's report there's no reason to click. And in this case, I figured the salient point was the guy-on-bed. Must've worked - you clicked.

Good reply, except:

"Nobody has tender feelings quite like you people on the right."

"You people..." Well, we all know you're left of center. But this right-of-center commenter considers the tender-feelings contest between left and right a dead heat.

"Is this site a news site, informative site or what."

Is that a question? It's hard to tell, because like the preceding sentence, it should end in a question mark if it's a question. Also, the Oxford comma isn't optional.

"Middle Eastern" isn't a nationality. The Middle East isn't a nation.

"Nobodies feelings". I think you mean "nobody's".

The Fox TV article reports South Point Drive as being "in Southie". Annoying enough that this clueless news source uses diminutives to sound more connected, but they don't even know the difference between South Boston and Dorchester.

Responding officers were from C-6, which is in South Boston - but whose district includes Columbia Point. It's an old problem for new reporters.

For Adam to say he omitted the description so that Fox 25 would get extra clicks, is not only irresponsibly dangerous, but strains credulity. What if the casual UHub user works near Columbia Point with a creepy, 5'5" man from the Middle East who was wearing a red shirt and jeans on the night in question? Had they not taken the extra step to click on the Fox 25 link, they would not have known from UHub that their co-worker answered the suspect's description.

Unless they took the extra, inconvenient step to click on Fox 25, the average UHub user and MBTA rider who saw the suspect at JFK would never know.

Adam runs a great site but intentionally withholding descriptive information on a dangerous person is never proper, especially if the purpose is merely to direct click numbers to another source.

What if Jack Bauer hadn't tortured a bunch of random swarthy-looking people to track down the bedroom invader?

No information was withheld. You found it, and so did every other person who was at all interested in this story, using exactly the same method. Get a grip.

Wrong. The description of the Middle Eastern man was withheld from the initial post. Adam admits it. I have no doubt it was withheld out of political correctness, not out of Adam's professional courtesy to boost clicks for Fox 25. Spare me. I only clicked on the link because I found it odd that the victim provided no description of the suspect, who was on her bed inches away. Then I realized she had provided a detailed description but Adam chose not to provide it on his site, although suspect descriptions are almost always given here. If you consider me odd for noticing the obvious double standard, so be it.

If the suspect was a 5'5" white male with a southern accent, wearing a Trump shirt, would readers be required to click a link to get that info? Please!

Charles Stuart said that he saw a black man shoot him and his wife.

You probably believed that, too.

The typical Trumper criminal is probably not intelligent enough to try to open an unlocked door. Would have tried to knock it down using his feet, fists and assertions of majority victory. Would have made a ruckus and been caught.

And you have to be a moron to criticize Adam's technique on this one. All he had to do was write THAT headline and he saved himself the trouble of repeating the story. Everyone clicked. Everyone.

... it's not like he was juggling live grenades. if you live in the columbia point area, and want to know more about the offender, then it's easy to find the information. most of us aren't spending out time trying to find reasons to side-eye our coworkers, wondering if they're dangerous criminals we read about on the news. i mean, maybe people are, i guess, but then i am assuming that they read multiple news outlets to make their dossiers.

your hyperbole on this post is weird at best.
