What the heck is going on there have been way to many shooting in recent days. I also like how everyone blames the mayor like he’s the one out there pulling the trigger.

The sad part is it is going unnoticed in the media. There is an uptick due to splintered gangs like Chicago.

I know what you mean, but I consider UHub media. I'm glad Adam, and his readers notice. Also glad BPD purs it in their blog.

Local channel 7 WHDH has been reporting on the increase in deadly shootings in Boston in the new year. Stop watching fake Fox News (and their anti Chicago hysteria they so love to scream) and pay attention to actual local Boston news to see that this IS being reported about.

Chicago averages a Mandalay a month in casualties. It's not hysteria to report that atrocity. Boston is fortunate to not be an embarrassingly corrupt and dysfunctional like Chicago.

There's likely a turf war between rival gangs or drug distribution syndicates. BPD typically doesn't comment on the details of why specific individuals are targeting each other in order to not promote or provide notoriety to organized criminal elements.

That I think is overlooked or not realized by many is the issue of Annie Dookhan, the (for lack of a better word, disgraced) chemist who falsified many lab reports thus leading to the dismissal of cases that included gang members and gun toters who otherwise would still be incarcerated.

I have to agree with you. So many innocent people may be victims due to her stupidity. I

My Prayers and Condolence Goes out to The Family of this person.
People need to speakup or call the hotline too many are being murdered in the streets of Boston. The Mayor or the Police Officers are not Responsible for the Shooting. Why Cry Out Black Lives Matters When The Blacks Are Killing Their Own Black People's. No Parent Should Bury Their Child. Everyone so Busy is Concern about water floods out of Boston but whos Helping Boston Nobody its why i dont give a shit about others country

Meh it’s not even that bad for a city. There’s cities with 200k people putting up way higher numbers than boston. Boston has almost 700k people and have had years with 38 homicides that’s not even close to one a week.

Well the last 2 years Boston has averaged 1 a week & it will go up this year & the area it is happening in is much smaller than the Area it happens in with city's of 200,000 look were most of homicides happened last year very small area for size of city obviously the homicides are not effecting you but they effect the neighborhoods they are happening in I lost someone to gun violence last year & 4 in the last 4 years and 3 out of 4 of them were black & Boston has a smaller black community than other major cities it's size even though it is on the rise in saying that the community it's happening in is smaller than other cities so it is a big deal SMH what an ignorant comment (Lack of Knowledge)
