Two charged with armed holdup of Brighton market

UPDATE: Suspect now charged with additional armed robberies.

Boston Police report arresting two people on charges they held up Quality Market, 140 North Beacon St. at gunpoint around 9:50 p.m. on Jan. 10.

Thomas Huggins, 35, was nabbed yesterday, police say, adding a woman who'd allegedly accompanied him during the robbery had been arrested not long after the robbery on Commonwealth Avenue at Warren Street.

Police say the pair entered the store and that Huggins approached the counter, took out his gun and demanded money from the clerk.
