Car-to-car gunfire shuts Truman Parkway in Hyde Park
State Police are looking for the occupant of a car that pumped repeated shot into another car around 6:15 p.m. on Truman Parkway, near Neponset Avenue, sending the driver to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to State Police, the driver, 26, was heading towards Milton when somebody in another car opened fire, then sped off. The driver made it all the way to River Street in Mattapan, where he was transported to a local hospital.
State Police are looking for anybody who might have seen or even videoed the incident; witnesses can contact detectives at 617-727-8817. Troopers are investigating the incident because Truman Parkway is a state road.
State Police shut the road for more than three hours for their investigation.
