Man stabbed in Chinatown; suspect arrested

Boston Police report a man was stabbed several times outside 660 Washington St., between Essex and Beach streets around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday.

Police report the victim is expected to survive. Their investigation led them to a local emergency room where they arrested Valenz Joisil, 24, of Lynn, around 5:20 a.m. today on charges of attempted murder and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. Police say Joisil was still packing the knife he used in the attack, and that he went to the hospital for treatment of the cut on his hand he suffered during the attack.
