Man charged with shooting near Marcella Street in Roxbury

Boston Police report arresting Terrell Williams, 22, of Roxbury on charges he shot another man at 4 Brinton St., off Marcella and Washington streets, around 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 9.

Police report the victim survived the shooting. Gang-unit detectives arrested Williams in Fall River, police say, after a search of an apartment at 48 Bower St. as part of their investigation yielded "a 9mm SAR Arms B6 Compact handgun along with numerous rounds of ammunition and assorted large capacity feeding devices."

Williams was charged with assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a large-capacity feeding device and improper storage of a firearm, police say.

A Roxbury Municipal Court judge set bail at $40,000, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.

I think you should re-think posts like this. Uncritically regurgitating police department press releases isn't journalism, and while you make the abbreviated "Innocent, etc" disclaimer at the bottom, I doubt that will be very persuasive to anyone dealing with the accused in terms of jobs, rents, etc. in the event he is cleared of charges. I get that it's newsworthy to catch a murderer, but as of this posting we don't know that's the case.
