Man shot to death in Uphams Corner

Victim identified as Adilson Barbosa, of Dorchester.

A man was shot in the head at Columbia Road and Dudley Street around 11:40 p.m.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, Boston Police report.

Shell casings were found in the middle of the intersection.

BPD?

Seems like this weekend was a very active; is there any word from BPD about this? I may not live in that neighborhood, but I'm sure the people who do need assurance that BPD is quickly investigating and doing what they can to prevent further violence there.
