Two shot in possible Blue Hill Avenue gun battle; ambulance in crash on way to scene

Stanley Staco reports two men were shot, one in the stomach, one in the leg, on Blue Hill Avenue between Warren and Devon streets around 4:15 a.m.

A Boston EMS ambulance on the way to the scene was involved in a crash with an SUV on Blue Hill Avenue at Quincy Street. Kevin Wiles Jr. reports three first responders and the SUV driver were taken to local hospitals.

Last month, another ambulance taking two shooting victims to the hospital was knocked on its side in a crash.
