Update: State Police report it was a woman's body.
WBZ reports State Police recovered the badly decomposed body last night between Enneking Parkway and Turtle Pond.

When a person is found murdered on State or MBTA property is the victim added to Boston's body count or is the victim counted on a different set of statistics?
Body Counts
Boston would not carry this homicide in their numbers. The Globe or Universal hub or other media agencies that count homicides may as they manually create a log, but BPD only counts homicides they investigate.
