A sergeant responding to a report of a man with a gun at Bowdoin Street and Geneva Avenue around 10:15 a.m. found the man several blocks away, on Westville Street at Draper Street, "stumbling as he walked while talking to himself, and he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or some other substance," police say.

The sergeant frisked the man and found an SCCY, CPX-1 9-mm gun, loaded with one round in the chamber and nine in the magazine, in the man's waistband, police say.
