Person shot on Beacon Street in Hyde Park

Around 3 p.m. at 74 Beacon St., between Milton and Metropolitan avenues. The victim was found at Metropolitan Avenue and Summit Street, at the Milton line.

The shooting comes a day after Boston Police arrested a Hyde Park man on gun charges at Metropolitan Avenue and Brush Hill Road in Milton, about three-quarters of a mile from the shooting scene.
