Teen shot in the leg near Ross Playground in Hyde Park

A teen was shot at Westminster Street and Ayles Road in Hyde Park Monday night - just a few doors down from where a man was fatally shot the day before.

Boston Police report she told detectives she was shot by somebody in a black car with tinted windows at around 9:50 p.m. on Monday, a short walk from where a man was fatally shot in Ayles Road around 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

In July, a man was charged with threatening two people with a gun on Reddy Avenue, a month after another man was charged with threatening four people with a gun near the park.
