Man charged with stabbing on Firth Road in Roslindale

Boston Police report arresting a Cummins Highway resident for a stabbing on Firth Road in Roslindale around 6 p.m. on June 8.

Hussein Kafel, 26, was arrested at his home yesterday evening, initially on a charge of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, but then also on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of Class A and B drugs following a search of his residence.

Police say the victim survived.
