Meanwhile, on the Red Line, man charged with sexual attack on woman

A South Boston man faces a charge of indecent assault and battery after he allegedly stuffed his face in a woman's lap on a Red Line train Saturday morning, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

According to the DA's office, Jawson Metayer of South Boston sat next to a woman who did not know him in a fairly empty Red Line train heading south towards Downtown Crossing:

He then placed his head face-down on the victim’s lap and turned his face upwards to blow kisses at her. The victim asked him to stop, but he did not comply. A witness called Transit Police. Officers entered the train at Downtown Crossing station and spoke with Metayer and the victim. Metayer was uncooperative and refused to provide any form of identification. He was placed under arrest.

He was released on his own recognizance pending his next court hearing on Sept. 17, the DA's office reports.

Innocent, etc.

The perverts will. Thank god I don’t have to use that dumpster fire of a public transit.

What do you want me to do about it?

empathy for the cost in human misery of this huge public policy failure instead of bragging about your own privilege? Just riffing here. Maybe something, anything besides, "Yeah, glad I don't have to deal with that, sucks to be you."

And pretend like it’s not a dumpster fire? Ya, that will definitely enact change.

Because it fails miserably if it was.

You can express empathy for the people who have no choice but to utilize a "dumpster fire" of a public transit system.

What was pointed out to you is that you chose to voice a very different and decidedly colder view of the situation.

asshole for your opinion: it's a free country, and you need not fear a headline that goes, "Privileged douche asserts his privilege in an online forum." You're a dime a million.

It's for resorting to the lamest kind of logical fallacy in defense of said opinion: mispresenting my point because your fake version is easier to attack than what I said. Your idiot friends might swallow that thin gruel, but this is uHub. Try not to insult the board's intelligence.

(Extra lame-o points for belatedly trying to pretend you were joking. That's even runnier dogshit than a strawman attack.)

Sentence. I’m sure you’re proud of it though. Continue to ride your moral high horse while providing nothing of substance to change the status quo. Everything is fine. It’s better that way than maybe offending someone. Gesh!

This is so on brand for you:

1)Post some shit-stirring garbage
2)When you get responses, double down and DARVO
3)When you try that and get schooled, proclaim that you're bored

If all this bores you, you have the option of not stirring shit in the first place. If you don't like the reaction you get, the door's right there.

...out of state -- and had bought property in two different (other) parts of the country? Or am I thinking of some other elitist troll?

The answer to your question was posted this morning at 8:52am. Now go back under your bridge as punishment.

Just outside of DC. No idea why you care or what you’re going to do with that information, but there you go. Now back under your bridge.

I’m throwing a pool party once I move in and you’re invited.

Covid has really screwed up the timeline and overages on this house. I think we’re 200k over now? I try not to think about it.

The gift that keeps on giving. Thanks also to the brave members of the Legislature who did his bidding.
