Boston Police report they are looking for two guys they say beat and robbed two people taking out the trash from a Hanover Street market shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say a man and a woman taking out the trash to a dumpster in the rear of Adam's Convenience, 149 Hanover St., were violently attacked by the two:

The female victim was punched and kicked in the back of the head by the suspects, resulting in a small laceration. The male victim was punched in the face multiple times and his gold chain with a pendant on it was ripped off. The suspects then fled the area on foot through the alley and onto Blackstone Street where they got into a small black SUV, possibly a Nissan Rogue, which then drove off towards Surface Road.

The victims report the two had been in the store shortly before the attack. The woman was taken to a local hospital for care.
