Man shot to death on Washington Street in Dorchester

Victim identified as Jashun Cooley, 38, of Roxbury.

A man was shot at Washington and Morse streets, shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Boston Police report.

This was Dorchester's second murder this weekend.

Same person arrested just months ago for weapons possession. Too bad they're not keeping people in jail for illegal possession of firearms.
Clearly he had a reason ot be carrying it.
