Boston Police report arresting Coleman Nee, 40, of South Boston on charges he held up the TD Bank branch at 1 Union St., across from Faneuil Hall, shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday. Read more.

An Everett man on probation on armed-robbery charges faces new federal charges for a February bank robbery in Allston in which he allegedly used his "big-ass gun" to rob the bank of $5,903.50, steal one customer's car and threaten to shoot another customer's "white ass" if he didn't get in the car with him - which the customer did, but from which he managed to escape after about a block. A man who held up the Chase Bank branch at 280 Huntington Ave. on Dec. 30 struck again around 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, but this time he ditched his outer clothing and then hopped in a car for a ride over to the McDonald's on Massachusetts Avenue in Newmarket Square, the FBI reports. Read more.

A federal grand jury recently indicted Dennis Taylor on charges he robbed a Santander Bank branch at Massachusetts and Westland avenues in April even as he was on federal probation following his release from a sentence for robbing another bank, the US Attorney's office in Boston reports. Read more.

The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force has released photos of a man they say walked into the Peoples United Bank branch at 50 State St. and held it up, around 4 p.m. on Oct. 2.

The Santander Bank at 860 River St. was robbed by a black man wearing a blue surgical mask, a green hoodie, dark sweatpants and black and white sneakers around 12:45 p.m. He ran towards Mattapan Square with a white sack full of cash.

Boston Police report that while Paul Whooten, 56, of Hyde Park, made it out of the Rockand Trust branch on Truman Parkway with money in a bag yesterday afternoon, neither he nor his alleged accomplice got far: Whooten was nabbed about a block away, near Cranmore Road, after he ran from the bank, while Richard Berger, 55, who drove away, was collared in Milton after getting caught in some traffic. A man robbed the Citizens Bank branch at 28 State St., near the Old State House, around 11:45 a.m. He ran across Congress Street and dropped some of the money in front of 60 State St. before heading down towards the water. Read more.
