Kneeland Street gets stabby after the clubs let out

Boston Police report that officers already busy trying to tone down after-hours partiers outside 150 Kneeland St. this morning watched as two guys got into a fight in the middle of the road that ended with one carted off to Tufts Medical Center with multiple stab wounds.

Police say officers were on scene shortly after 3 a.m. due to issues with people blaring music out of their cars when they heard tires screech:

[They] next observed a black Cadillac SUV cut off a BMW sedan in the middle of the street. It seemed to officers from their vantage point that the two parties were yelling at each other in relation to a traffic dispute. Officers, being somewhat distant from the two parties who were arguing, entered their car to get the parties moving when the operator of the Cadillac exited his vehicle and ran toward the operator of the BMW. Before officers could reach the disputing parties, officers observed them engaged in a physical altercation. By the time officers reached the feuding parties, one of the parties to the fight had sustained several stab wounds.

Police say the officers managed to subdue Juan C. Alejandro, 32, and got EMS to transport the injured man to the nearby hospital. Alejandro was charged with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
