Police seek help finding whoever killed young father in broad daylight on Blue Hill Avenue

Harmon

Apparently stymied in their investigation, Boston Police are seeking help from the public to find Jamil Harmon's murderer.

Harmon was stabbed to death around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 18 on Blue Hill Avenue between Seaver Street and Columbia Road. Police say "many people were in the area at the time that the victim was murdered" and are hoping anybody who saw something will either call the homicide unit at 617-343-4470 or contact the anonymous tip line by calling 1-800-494-TIPS or texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

When he died, Harmon left behind his son, Treshawn Boyd, along with his parents, two sisters and his grandparents.
