When ever I go to see my friends in the Seattle area this is the one Boston term (along with mispronouncing espresso as ecspresso) that they just don't get. Breckfest is in the morning, lunch is at noon and suppa is around five or six. Dinner is a big lunch, usually only on Sundays after church or holidays.
Wait, other people don't say suppa? Do they eat supper at least? My dad used to even have a song about it - "Super Dooper Supper, Supper Upper Upper, Soupa soupa suppa time!" This song probably only works with the accent.
