Cambridge Police report that around 8:20 p.m. on July 4th, one of the fireworks two guys were setting off on Cherry Street shot into a house, "causing smoke." Officers who arrived on scene in response to several calls about the bombs bursting in air wrote summonses for the two on charges of illegal fireworks possession and disturbing the peace.

Gregory Gill, 23, is scheduled for arraignment on two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon in East Boston Municipal Court today after he allegedly pointed "a realistic-looking replica AK47 at passersby" during preparations for the Winthrop July Fourth parade on Saturday, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Car smoking after fireworks attack

Live Boston reports a Jeep that just happened to be sitting atop a box of fireworks on Michigan Avenue near Columbia Road caught fire around 2:50 a.m. on July 4th. Neighbors rushed over with garden hoses to douse the car before firefighters arrived.
