Summer in the city

Calla luxuriates in the sun:

Gently swelling pregnant bellies become more obvious, no longer shrouded in quilted coats. I feel the sun warm on my face, I am almost hot, but relish the heat. I see the black suits and skirts give way to pastels and florals, men shed their jackets. ...
