The old haunts

Stephen reacquaints himself with Newbury Street and downtown, after coming back from school in Washington:

... I loved being in Washington, DC. It's a unique place because, except for those who are unfortunate enough to not be able to get out, it's a place where no one is from. I lived there, but was not from there. I was like everyone else, and here in Boston, I'm like everyone else again. There's a part of the city in me, like there was a part of me that was lacking while in DC. I think I am having an identity crisis.
