Red Aleut: Rockport annexed to Alaska, at least temporarily

Photos showing how everybody's favorite quaint little New England fishing port was turned into a remote Alaskan village for a Sandra Bullock movie.

That's the part I don't understand. They would have many more hours each day to film between April and September, that's for sure.

I was wondering how they were going to handle a mountain backdrop.
