Tim forwarded the above photo, taken at the height of last night's wicked amazing midnight thunderstorm:

I opened my shutter to two seconds and held still. I swear this was taken in the dark of night.

Hey, as somebody who could still see the flashes even with my eyes closed, I believe you.
