Laron Lewis Richards, 20, of Jamaica Plain, was acquitted today of charges he murdered Analicia Perry as she lit a candle for her brother, murdered at the same location four years earlier, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office announced.
Prosecutors had charged Richardson shot Perry from the window of a car driven by Perry's ex-boyfriend, Steven Sayles. Sayles is scheduled for trial as an accessory to Richards's murder later this year.
Perrry's brother, Robert, was gunned down at the same location on Albert Street in Roxbury. Nobody has ever been charged for his death.
