Aaron Michlewitz knows how to raise money

Latest campaign reports show he's raised $115,000 so far in his race to replace his old boss, Sal DiMasi. Next in line: Susan Passoni, with $51,000.

according to WBUR radio this morning. (I had no idea, and had a completely different pronunciation in my head.)

Gotta look at the liabilities too. Passoni has 150,000 in liabilities! It looks like the candidate is under water, upside down with liabilities triple any of the cash she ever had on hand, and over 10 times more then her cash on hand. Unless she has a wave coming in she is drowning. (on second check many of those are "loans" from her to the campaign, bad sign.) Also who is David Kent, the consultant on her forms, he has recieved almost 10,000 from the campaign and she is well behind in the money game. She has spent close to 10,000 on a polling firm in Somerville as well.

Lucy Rivera is a suprise with only 10,000. After all the work she has done already in the State House, and having worked for a former President of the Senate you would have figured that she would have had the same types of access to campaign cash as Michlewitz.

... about Passoni's budget woes. I live in the North End and I've gotten about 10 different mailers from her. Doesn't seem like the best use of resources.
