Kids, that old 'let's wait until the cops leave' trick doesn't always work

Boston Police report that when officers responded to a loud party near Cleveland Circle around 2:15 a.m. on Monday, the three 20-somethings renting the place assured them the party was over and they were sending people home. Those cynical cops: They warned the 16 South St. residents they'd better be telling the truth or they'd really be in trouble.

When officers returned two hours later on another noise complaint, they found the party going strong and this time they arrested the three on charges of being keepers of a disorderly house.
