Mattapan murder suspect found in New Jersey pile of laundry

A Revere man was arrested in New Jersey earlier this week on charges he helped gun a man down on Wilcock Street in Mattapan on May 13, Boston Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office report.

Abiona Justice Sharpe, 20, faces an extradition hearing in New Jersey next week, officials said.

The Courier News reports that local police and US marshals found Sharpe in a Monmouth Junction apartment and that after evacuating other occupants and sending in a police dog, police found him under a pile of laundry in a closet.

Earlier this month, Damante Burrell, 16, of Dorchester, was charged first-degree murder; police say he pumped several bullets into Fred Bing as he stood on the sidewalk.

Innocent, etc.
