There's no catch and release in bank robbery

Boston Police report arresting a downtown man on charges he tried to hold up the Sovereign Bank, 125 Causeway St., around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

After the teller pushed a panic alarm and told him she didn't have much money, the man fled. Police say evidence quickly led them to 25 Staniford St., where they arrested Joseph Campbell, 45, about an hour later. As he was being arrested, Campbell allegedly "told officers that he was sorry for scaring the teller and that he would have given back the money if the teller had given it to him."

Innocent, etc.
