Baltimore, Boston and Richmond are among the cities laying claim to the legacy of Poe, given the author was born in Boston, raised in Richmond and died in Baltimore on Oct. 7, 1849.
Laying claim to the legacy is one thing, laying claim to the leg is quite another.

As a writer I hope Poe is honored
Why are people so obsessed by death? EA Poe had a wonderful view of it.
Poe wouldn't want to be buried here
I'm pretty sure Poe hated Boston, but I haven't talked to him in a while. And he didn't really have many roots in Baltimore, either. He lived there for a time, but the fact he died there is what pinned his legacy to that city.
the article never says who
the article never says who wants to move it, why, and to what city. Only that someone is opposed to moving it. I'm opposed to. Why move him?
