I would say that someone like Brian Joyce might be able to mount a successful primary challenge given the anger at Lynch right now. His district is inside MA-09 and he wanted this seat in 2001; maybe he could ride the horse of liberal anger to victory. Ironically, the one person with the best shot at this probably would have been none other than State Sen. Marian Walsh
