The turned-away BU students

David wonders why why some local Demmies were so intent on preventing BU students from voting in that Allston/Brighton state rep's election yesterday - even though they legally had the right to do so:

A local committee of Democrats tries to scare other Democrats away from the polls with trumped-up legal claims about residency that the simplest inquiry - such as calling the Secretary of State's office - would show to be false. It's no goddamn wonder we've failed to win back the Governor's office for the last four elections. Any party that turns itself into a circular firing squad like this doesn't deserve to win an election for dog-catcher. ...
