The Boston Business Journal reports that state officials closed this Boston institution for not paying its taxes.

I know that Cafe Marliave was not everyone's cup of tea, but I really liked that place. It had old-fashioned service and a dining room that looked like you walked right into the 19th century. I know it could have been managed better, been cleaner, etc., but it's a real piece of Boston history.
